Larry-
Hi! I just got off of the phone with you about gettin a LG 25# power hammer down to the kids at the French Camp Academy.
Here are my particulars:
John Helscher
2645 Highway 1
Washington, Iowa 52353
helschermlj@lisco.com
(319) 653-3412 (office)
" 653-7310 (home- evenings and on week-ends)
" 863-3828 (Cell)
" 653-6286 (Fax)
If someone is going to pick it up coming through Washington (I'm 7 miles west of Interstate 380) that would probably be ideal but I'd have to have some time to get the hammer out so we could load it. I would also be willing to meet someone someplace. We could back our pick-ups together and slide it from one to the other pretty easily, I would think, especially if there were 3 or 4 of us. I would also be willing to drive it someplace to somebody elses shop or hell, even down to Mississippi if that is the only way to get it down there.
Anyway, I am at your disposal. Let me know what you want to do or can work out.
Just for your information, here are the particulars on the hammer:
1- New model LG with sow-block and side ram guides
2- There is no motor, belting, motor mount, brake or shield on this hammer as it sits
3- I have put on a new spring and new Toggle Arm Connecting Rods
4- The tredal is bent and will need some work
5- I think that the babbits are good and the crank wheel turns freely. The clutch appears to be good.
6- When I got it home I oiled the crap out of it so it is not dry or caked
