As you probably know, the Guild web site, mine, and many other makers' web sites have been down for over 24 hours. It's obvious that there has been a major problem. Shortly after 2:00 PM today (Sunday), my web site and the Guild web site was up and looking normal.

Right now, it 4:38 PM and the http://www.knifenetwork.com/ is still down. For you that don't know it, Atlanta Virtual owns that web site. I'm sure it is a very profitable web site.

It says a lot for Alex (Atlanta Virtual), to get all of us up first, before he gets his on up.

Stay Safe,

A.T.

I agree with the Nicholasville Knifemaker.....
While down is painful, Alex "done good" in setting priorities......

Thursday morning and our web site is still down. So is the Guilds, if you try the home page. Spent all week e-mailing pictures of knives to customers and explaining that we didn't close our web site. Not a good week so far. Maybe they will get something going today.

8:30 pm Monday, 11-12-2007.
Ever since sometime before 9 pm Saturday, 11-10-2007, to the best of my knowledge, all is well, and has stayed so.....:D
Hats off to Alex for several things......he stayed on the problem until his providers got it done, he kept in contact and responsiveness mode to all of us who communicated with him, and finally, Alex had built relationships with many many of his clients that we started off trusting his being our advocate......there is No entity in any organization that has more value than an extremely skilled and sincere marketing organization....whether it is the marketeers, the senior managers, or in Alex's case the President....the ought to be number one marketeer in any top organization!
