Hi James,
Welcome to the Knifemakers' Guild forums!
I'd really like to say that there is a great book out there or someone has done a super DVD on how to do hollow grinding, and someone may have, I just don't know who to recommend.
What I'd like to do is know where you are located, Knowing that maybe a suggestion of someone near you who you might call and visit with. Alot of makers would be happy to share their knowledge with you...
If you anywhere near Indianapolis, I would be happy to have you visit ....but you'll need to be tolerant of my packed and kinda messy "shop":D
If you post the where you are located, and I don't get back you for a few days it because I will be off line for Thursday(24)-Sunday(27).

James,
I have a VHS on how to grind. I show how I hollow grind a knife. In fact, two examples, both Scagle styles...I teach how to free hand hollow grind a
Scagle Bowie (camp knife) and Scagle style hunter. Please feel free to call me( 502-222-1397,) my shop, or look at our website: www.hibbenknives.com for more information. If you are near the Kentucky area, you are more than welcome to come to my shop, hang out for a day, and get a grinding lesson. Call first..
