Border Bowie With Engraving

This "Border Bowie" is fresh out of the Dan-D shop in Del Norte, Colorado. The blade on this knife has a tapered tang and is made out of 440 stainless steel. It has a brass bolster and butt cap that have been engraved by a man I met here in Del Norte by the name of Ron Bliss. He is a spur maker and engraver and works in my shop part time. The handle is made of Arizona ironwood with white volcanized spacers and has 1/8" mosaic pins. The length of the blade is 8" and the overall length of the knife is 14 1/4".
