What a sad day for all the knifemaking community. Very few people have the knife knowledge that Paul had. May he Rest in Peace.

I received this today.
I'm sad to report to you that Paul C. Basch passed away this morning at 12:10 a.m. after suffering from heart trouble, diabetes, and kidney failure (he had been on dialysis) for several years. Both his legs were amputated and he was in hospice care near the home of his brother, Don, in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN for the past few years.
Details about Paul's funeral, etc., may be obtained directly from Don at the following:
Don Basch
3645 Wellington Lane North
Plymouth, MN 55441
Tel: 763-593-5397
Email: djbinmn@aol.com
I am uncertain at this stage if a funeral service is planned or where or if flowers should be sent.
This will have to come directly from Don Basch.
