I have been having some problems with flux leaching out after awhile and causing rust spots around bolsers and guards
I'm using Stay Brit flux and solder
After I'm finished soldering I wash with detergent and hot water and put in a solution of baking soda and watesteel is ATS or 440C Guards or Bolsters are 416ss
Any Suggestions
Thank You in advance

I would pre-tin the bolsters. What's happening is you are not soldering a good complete joint. Number 2 would be you are applying to much heat and you're burning the flux which can stop you from getting a complete soldered joint. Your doing at lot of clean-up which is good but just getting the flux off as soon as you can with water will work OK. Then spray some Lemon Pledge on it for continued protection.
