matching knives wanted for gift

Hello! I am interested in purchasing two knives, one for my father and myself. We aren't collectors but I would like a special gift not off the wal-Mart shelf. Due to the economic times we are in my price range is about $300 dollars total. I realize this may not be possible, however I thought I would ask. Nothing extravagant is needed.
