Corbet Sigman

Corbet Sigman passed away August 5, 2006. I only knew him slightly, but respected his work and his integrity.

I had not seen Corbit in some time but in 1988 after attending my first Guild show, my family visited for a short time with him at his home and shop. What always has amazed me was how a knifemakers shop could be in the most incredible state of cleanliness as was his. We had a nice visit and it is sad to hear that he will no longer be with us.
